Small small hole-in-the-wall shop off of Riverside and PCH.
A deli lunch stop AND a yummy bakery gem. Very casual, but their Red Velvet can't be passed. This is my Red Velvet star, better than Sprinkles, and it's done so without all of the foo-foo slim-chic decor.
It's just a shop, a simple shop with this small deli counter. They rotate the items each week, depending on what the cake lady is in the mood for. She experiments, of which the positive results are affordable!

Chocolate Cheesecake Stunning appearance. It looked like the crust was good, and it surprisingly tasted like dark oreo crust brownie. The filling was not bad either, but it wasn't as chocolaty-tasting or rich as I wanted. It was definitely more of a cream cheese base with chocolate. Odd, because it was mild sour chocolate, unexpected, due to the cream cheese.
I prefer regular cheesecake I suppose.
Still, this was exciting to try.

$2.75 for big slice. Good deal. Little cupcakes are $1.25. Hey! That's a bargain for a cupcake, especially in Orange County.
