Nick's Laguna

Nick's Laguna
PCH, Laguna Beach

Sat out on the terrace in the glowing sunset. Laguna was peaceful. No tourists. No matter what, the atmosphere is sheer bliss. Nick's is the perfect spot for people watching. The booth seating is comfortable outside. Not much to look at, aside from the view, and still it provides a lovely accommodation for enjoying the peace of the afternoon with the warm light and good company to share stories.

Service is attentive and the prices are affordable. Come here for some happy hour drinks and appetizers. It's so casual, with clean lines. Enjoy.

Delicious.

Camari
with homemade tartar

Can't say much for this stuff. Too fried for me, like Carl's Jr. onion rings, and tasted like it too. Minimal squid and meatiness. Tasted like onion ring shell. Only served with ranch relish and minced peppers. Not exciting. $7, that's it.

Didn't sit in here, but it really does pack up in the evening. The outdoor terrace is much more enjoyable for atmosphere despite there only being 6 tables. It's cozier outside.
