I would say that Headliner's is definitely one of those friendly, neighborhood diners with an LA twist. It is a narrow restaurant, more like a cafe in seating arrangment, that sits on Kinross. You can count on them for a good, hearty breakfast. I've seen better prices on eggs, but if you're looking for an all-you-can-eat kind of meal, this is the place. You'll pay around $11-12 for the meal below, anything extra such as drinks, etc., is extra, but hey... when you're hungry you're hungry and you want something good. This is good food.
They give you a TON of bread, whole wheat toasted, and fruit of cantaloupe and orange on the side. This is a huge meal. All for around $9 or less. Fantastic. I enjoyed my lunch today. It is the best lunch to have before a meeting, such as a pressurful meeting. Good meal. You won't leave hungry.
Each time I've visited we've had to wait around 10 minutes, even when it's not busy, so don't count on speedy service. More than the speed is the friendliness of the service, which supercedes the flaw in quickness. We keep coming back here because it is convient: right on campus, easy, predictable with good food, and friendly.
