Honeyed Banana Berry Cake Cookies

Honeyed Banana Berry Cake Cookies
Recipe by Picky Palate

I saw a photo of one of my friend's chocolate chip, double decker cookies and asked here were she found the inspiration for this delicious looking concoction. She led me to Picky Palate, a blogger of recent acquaintance only through my reading. I came across this recipe (see link near title) that only required four ingredients, and four relatively healthy ingredients!

Four ingredients total. There are merely four ripe large bananas, 1 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 box sugar-free yellow cake mix, and 2 TBSP Honey. This is an easy recipe, very easy and it takes no time.

The aftertaste of these cookies does yield one of those sugar-free flavors, but hey, they were okay cookies. I can't say I'd make these again because there are just too many, four dozen. You also have to have a particular palate for these. They were too sweet for me in the end, too sweet in sweetener flavor. However, the consistency is remarkable. They are very moist, banana moist; they are cake after all! I left these in oven for only 11 mins and they were done on the inside though the outside looks sticky. Best way to keep these is to refrigerate them after cooling. Interesting experiment.

I'll visit Picky Palate again for some other recipes in due time.
