Sooo today we were craving chicken teriyaki, Hawaiian style. It may not seem that exciting; it's simple, greasy, and inexpensive. But today we left Kim Chee with a happy tummy, and maybe a few greasy fingers.

BBQ Chicken Teriyaki

Yes. This was full of oil, but I did eat some. It was tasty, tender chicken. I couldn't taste much sauce on it, but the chicken was basted in a sweet sauce and it keeps you eating for a while, especially if you're hungry. This was honestly too much food for one; you should split any entree here. There was also a bowl of rice and slaw on the side. Too much food! But hey, we tried the authentic Kauai fast food.

Chicken Katsu

This was the reason we came here. Looks like a plate of fried chicken tenders, yes? These were crispy pieces of chicken, that's it. They're a filling, classic Hawaiian fast food. Apparently it's a popular order. Now we can say we tried it. I don't think we ate again for at least another 24 hours.
