Duke's Hula Pie

We were craving one of these slices all week, since dining there a few days before and not ordering dessert, which is a bad idea. Please, relieve your anxiety and just order one. We had enjoyed the salad bar (with fantastic banana nut muffins; don't ask me why they're serving banana bread at dinner), enjoyed the Huli Huli Chicken - teriyaki-marinated chicken and beef tenderloin on a skewer with two mounds of white rice (the marinade is absolutely divine) - a Zaca Mesa Viogner, and a slice of this pie. It was a heavy meal overall, and I probably gained a pound or so, but it was worth it. Please do yourself a favor and order this dessert once. You've gotta' try it. 

Oh, and sit on the upper level terrace overlooking the water. We enjoyed the oceanfront atmosphere best from here, and the acoustics were excellent - we could focus on our own conversation and here the ocean breeze through the palm leaves.
