FreeSoulCaffe

FreeSoulCaffe
Tustin, CA

Check out this entry courtyard. If I remember this correctly, there is a stone fountain with soft, trickling water in the center, having a few deuce tables surrounding.

Delicious chili.
This bowl was huge; you can share this with one other person. And at $7.07, that's a bargain. The chili was full of good, hearty veggies and the soup thick broth of it had a sweet tinge. Each bowl of soup comes with a big, soft and warm roll of sourdough or slice of whole grain wheat bread - the kind where you see the multi-grains strewn throughout. Absolutely delicious. I look forward to having this again on a cool autumn (or winter) day.

The atmosphere is inviting as well - very colorful. We liked this far corner with a fireplace and painted ceramic tiles. Though the ceilings are lofty in height, the focus is brought town to the walls and the tea displays along the wall. And don't forget the bakery counter.

I simply need to try these next time. Didn't get to on this round, but I hear they're good.

Green Tea Pistachio Biscotti
Amazing. Made fresh daily. The consistency was soft inside, like a thick chocolate-chip cookie, very mild in chewiness and with moisture trapped inside. These are bright in flavor, semi-sweet, like green tea macaroons. I didn't hint much of the pistachio. My biscotti piece reminded me more of Bottega Louie's green tea macaroon in flavor: dynamic and lovely.

These are monsters in size. You can easily save some of your cookie for later. The biscotti struck an excellent note with me. I'd make the drive out here again just for one of these. Yummm..

*Cheers*
